Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
Airplanes Anonymous (“we,” “us,” the “Service”) is a small, owner-operated aircraft-ownership tool. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, reach us through our support form.
Information we collect
- Account & contact. Your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
- Data you enter. Aircraft, maintenance and inspection records, flight log entries, squawks, oil and expense data, checklists, and any files or photos you upload.
- Payment. If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and customer/subscription identifiers — we never see or store your full card number.
- AI inputs. When you use an AI feature (checklist critique, health briefs, document/receipt/gauge scans, “ask my airplane”), the relevant text or image is sent to our AI provider to generate the result. We log that an action occurred (feature, model, timestamp) to monitor for abuse.
- Technical. Basic request data (IP address, browser) and essential cookies used to keep you signed in. We do not currently run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
How we use it
- To provide the Service — store your records and generate the outputs you ask for.
- To operate your subscription and send transactional email (backups, reminders, receipts).
- To secure the Service and investigate abuse.
- To respond when you contact support.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share data only with the vendors needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
- Resend — transactional and notification email.
- Anthropic — the AI model behind the AI features (processes the input you submit for that action).
Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records at any time, and you can request full account deletion through our support form— we’ll remove your account data, subject to any records we’re legally required to retain (e.g. billing records).
Your choices
You can access and export your data from within the app (Settings → Backup & restore), edit or delete records, and unsubscribe from non-essential email. To exercise access or deletion rights, contact us through our support form.
Security
We use reputable infrastructure providers, encrypted transport, and row-level access controls so your data is scoped to your account. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
