Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Airplanes Anonymous (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
Safety & advisory disclaimer — read this
Airplanes Anonymous is a record-keeping, planning, and educational tool. It is not a source of certified airworthiness, and nothing in it constitutes maintenance sign-off, legal, or regulatory advice. Every output — reminders, due dates, health briefs, performance numbers, checklist suggestions, AI-generated text, and scanned values — is advisory only and may be wrong. You, the pilot in command and aircraft owner, are solely responsible for verifying all information against your POH/AFM, the applicable FARs, current ADs, and a certificated mechanic before flight or maintenance action. Do not rely on this Service to determine airworthiness, currency, or the airworthiness of any action.
The Service
The Service helps owner-pilots track requirements, inspections, currency, squawks, flight and oil data, expenses, and checklists, and offers optional AI-assisted features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Accounts
You’re responsible for your account credentials and for the activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. Notify us of any unauthorized use.
Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans (“Pro”) are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and we don’t provide prorated refunds for partial periods. If something went wrong, email us — we’re reasonable.
- Taxes may apply and may be added at checkout.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights using the Service;
- attempt to breach security, scrape at scale, or disrupt the Service or its providers;
- resell or misrepresent the Service; or
- abuse the AI features (e.g. automated bulk usage designed to run up our costs).
Your content
You own the data and files you put into the Service. You grant us the limited license needed to host and process that content to operate the Service for you (including sending AI inputs to our AI provider to produce the results you request). You’re responsible for the content you upload and for keeping your own backups (the app provides export/backup tools).
Intellectual property
The Service itself — software, design, and content we provide — belongs to us. These Terms don’t transfer any of our IP to you beyond the right to use the Service.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Airplanes Anonymous and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service or its outputs — including any aviation-safety, maintenance, regulatory, or financial decision. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service.
Governing law & changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms; material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and continued use means you accept them.
